Continuing on with my Steampunk Cuties collection, I present a giraffe leaning against a gaslamp. Until electricity became widely available after the turn of the century gas was used as the primary source of illumination. Men would go through the streets at twilight to light each of the lamps along the way. Wouldn't it have been so much easier if they were as tall as a giraffe?
